This project began with a briefing that challenged us to come up with an innovative leisure proposal for adults or children. As a team of three, we focused on outdoor leisure for children, as we identified that traditional parks lack innovation in both their elements and their play format. The main challenge was to identify a real problem through exhaustive research and propose a solution that would resolve it creatively and effectively. For the research phase, we used mind maps to define the scope of action. We then conducted surveys and direct observations of parents to understand the shortcomings of the parks. The research revealed a clear need for new play experiences that went beyond physical activity.

Our solution was to create an interactive park with three areas for children aged 3 to 8. We developed a concept that includes an area for physical activity with traditional elements, another for mental activity, where children relate geometric shapes and animals to their habitats, and a third area, the most innovative one, for relaxation, which was the central point to be developed. In the latter, we designed an environment that promotes calm and respect for nature through the use of 3D holographic projections. Children use a food-shaped device to interact with animal holograms, creating an experience that reduces excitement and teaches calmness, while fostering respect for nature and animals. With this approach, we demonstrate a design methodology that goes from research to an innovative and well-founded solution.
